Hattest Du Dich auch überzeugt, daß das Programm auch dafür war; es hat eine ganz andere Bezeichnung als ich hab, Du mußt doch auf der Download-Site gelesen haben, was DH Pofessional Edition alles macht oder liest Du sowas erst garnicht!. Löscht das vielleicht auch andere Treiber und sonstwas??

Den Driver Cleaner 3.3 hab ich schon oft verwendet, der macht überhaupt kein Problem und arbeitet einwandfrei, deswegen hab ich ihn Dir auch empfohlen.

Du bist ein Super-Held; (hast Du Norton drauf?) - da gibt es einen Hinweis bei DH Pofessional Edition (hab mir das gleich runtergeladen), daß der Antivirus unbedingt deaktiviert werden muß, sonst crasht der PC. Der Ablauf ist zwar ein bißchen anders, aber am Tool liegt es nicht !!

Driver Cleaner Professional Editon is a program which helps you to remove parts of drivers that are left after uninstalling the old drivers. The program is for ATI, nVidia, Creative, Realtek, SIS, 3Dfx, S3 and more drivers. First you need to uninstall the drivers from the control panel, then reboot. After rebooting, run the program. If you really want a good description of what steps you should take, then you really need to read the readme file included in the zip file and installation as it contains a detailed step by step description. The program also fully supports windows themes and other kind of themes.


ATI:
1. Unplug nic card or modem from net or disconnect(damit Windows sich nicht den Treiber selbst runterlädt)
2. Remove ATI driver from add/remove programs then remove the control panel from add/remove programs
3. Reboot into safe mode (F8 during boot up)
4. On reboot into safe mode WinXP SP1/SP2 will auto detect and install drivers. Just let it do its thing. If you can cancel out of the auto install hardware wizard then skip the rest and run Driver Cleaner! If you can NOT cancel out of auto detect wizard then...
5. Navigate to device manager->display adapter->uninstall and/or remove ATI display adapter but do not reboot
6. Disable any AntiVirus Software (If you don't disable is than it could give trouble)
7. Run Cab Cleaner (not needed, but recommended)
8. Run Driver Cleaner
9. Empty recycle bin and reboot
10. Install the new drivers and control panel

nVidia:
